Author: This phrase may actually indicate that couples should be invited to baby showers. However, that is not the case, in fact it is the husband of the mother-to-be who invites his friends to a baby shower party.
Fortunately it has become more common over the last generation that more men are participating in the whole childbirth experience. Many men are now also involved in the birth itself, assisting the mother with coaching and helping her endure the stress. Having this in mind, it is not peculiar to imagine that men are participating in baby showers.
The decision to have men at the baby shower – meaning friends of the father – is a decission that obviously have to be made by both would-be parents. Dont take for granted, or decide this without your husbands agreeing to it.
If you come to the decision to invite men, subsequently make sure that this is reflected on the invitation. In addition, keep in mind that many men consider Sunday to be a holy day in more than just sacred terms. The customary baby shower has been around for centuries. Baby shower differs in each culture and within a country too. However the core purpose remains the same, to celebrate the joy of an expected mother.
Everyone in the social circle gathers to salute expectant parents through baby shower ceremony. The baby shower ceremony is joyous as everybody celebrate the welcoming of to-be new member in the family. It is the occasion where friends and family members share a piece of advice or two with the expectant parents.
If you are hosting a baby shower party ensure you don’t shy away from providing guest favors. Guest favors should be presented by you to your guests for their support and gratitude. Guest favors can be anything from a small gift to a gift that cost whatever you can afford. Generally, during a baby shower occasion small candy sachets and cookies are given to guests. Be prepared to wrap some additional gifts for your guests to the winners of baby shower games. The gifts need not be overly expensive you can wrap around some crystals or household items. Place card holders and photo albums are very common baby shower favors.
